New sofa upholstered in a striated texture with decorative toss pillows to add pattern and color.
A large great room opening the kitchen to the living and dining area is ideal for entertaining. A set of pocket doors were installed to close off the bedroom when necessary.
A storage ottoman fabricated in the same fabric as the dining room chairs connects the two areas. An aqua sofa with custom Robert Allen throw pillows to match the custom window cornice.
The custom cornice dresses the window without obstructing the great city views.
For a consistent look, custom decorative pillows were created in the same fabric seen on the window cornice.
Opting for an ottoman coffee table gave the client flexibility. It can be used as additional seating when entertaining, but also makes for a nice footstool or coffee table when home alone.
A blue, white and brass chest provides the living room with concealed storage, a surface for the freestanding TV and additional decorative element.
Living room is styles with client's personal items; books, candles and table lamp. Creating a romantic feminine feel with bookends and a rose to reflect client's personality.
A priority for the space was comfortable, durable upholstery for TV watching. A sectional hugs the perimeter of the space to optimize seating. This sectional sleeper also opens up to a super comfortable queen sized bed, giving these clients a private room for their occasional overnight guess
The client's eclectic artwork was re-positioned based on the newly laid out space. A wallcovering was selected as a neutral backdrop for the vibrant colors of the art.

Inspired by the colors from the inherited artwork an aqua glass and lucite table lamp was purchased. Seeing as the end table is the first object seen once entering the room, we preferred a table sculptural in nature. A metal table finished in bronze and gold to repeat the color palette of the wall-covering on the adjacent walls.
The black buffet and round mirror in the foyer are water elements. A dark accent wall breaks up the monotony of white walls.
